Candlelite Inn: Autumn Harvest Getaway & Progressive Dinner

The fall is, without doubt, one of the most popular seasons in New England. To end this season the Candlelite Inn with 2 other Inns in the Lake Sunapee Region is offering this autumn getaway with a progressive dinner.

The package includes 2 nights lodging with a hearty breakfast each morning, Friday evening hors d'oeuvres and a 3 course progressive dinner. Your first course with be at the Henniker House , main course at the Rosewood Country Inn and dessert here at the Candlelite Inn. Guests may also opt for a hay ride on Saturday afternoon which is an additional cost. The date is this weekend, October 28-30. Sample menu on Candlelite Inn's website.

While you are here in New Hampshire, guests can avail themselves of a wide variety of activities from picturesque walks or hikes along country lanes to shopping at nearby Tanger Outlets. Or visit small specialty shops or do some antiquing. There is still some leaf peeping available here in the Lake Sunapee Region.

Candlelite Inn: Columbus Day Weekend

Hi Everyone and Happy Columbus Day Weekend. The weather is going to be beautiful--great for a little get away. Lots going on here at the Candlelite Inn and in the Lake Sunapee Region.This weekend is Warner's Fall Foliage Festival and then hop over to Mt Sunapee Resort for their 3rd Annual Fall Festival Pig Roast & BBQ.Over at MT Sunapee there will be hay rides, face painting, food, summit skyrides and much more.Warner is featuring music, crafts, arts and of course, food. Here at the Candlelite, I'll have warm cider and Applesauce CranRaisin Spice cookies waiting for my guests return. Enjoy this weekend and don't forget to take that walk or ride and check out the fall foliage. Each year is different.
