Candlelite Inn: Fall Preview

Autumn is here. The leaves are changing; pumpkins have appeared on farm stands and on doorstops--cornstalks, scarecrows and chilly mornings are all apart of the fall season. Here at the Candlelite Inn, I have put together some interesting packages for the fall and early winter. Our Inn to Inn packages have continued with the Rosewood Country Inn and coming this October is our New Hampshire Fall Foliage Sampler which is available Oct 3-7, Oct 10-14 & October 17-21.  Another October event is our Autumn Harvest in New Hampshire with Progressive Dinner on October 28-30. With this package you will visit 3 Victorian Inns with hors d'oeuvres at the Henniker House in Henniker, the Rosewood Country Inn for your main course and the Candlelite Inn for dessert both in Bradford.

Some upcoming packages is our popular Holiday Shoppers Weekend Nov 18-20.Also coming up in December is a Progressive Holiday Tea and a house tour with The Fells on Dec 9-11.

Candlelite Inn: At Summer's End

I can't believe that summer has come to an end and fall is around the corner. Labor Day has come and gone. The kids are back in school. I am starting to see cornstalks and pumpkins at farm stands and soon houses will be decorated for autumn. Go out and take a walk--no matter what time of the day. Walking around Bradford, with its history is enjoyable, There is the covered bridge, down the street from the Candlelite Inn, the tall pines mini hike, the mill and great folks to wave at. I always say "staying at the Candlelite Inn your downtown" Just the other day as I took my daily walk, I saw movement to my right and there were a flock of wild turkeys and so close. The trees are beginning to turn and soon Mother Nature will put on her spectacular show of colors.

The Candlelite Inn is putting Fall Foliage packages together and I'll point you in the right direction to see some great color. Some of our Inn to Inn packages this fall will be a Harvest Progressive Dinner, Hiking packages, a progressive Christmas tea and house tour and some great ideas for Christmas gifts that are very inexpensive to make and very elegant to give. I'll have more on those this week with dates.
